Grand Seiko decided to continue its activities under its own brand instead of SEIKO, launching a new series of limited edition models designed exclusively for the United States, one of the most important regions on the luxury watch market.
The launch of these US-exclusive limited edition watches comes as Grand Seiko announces that its first independent non-Japanese corporate entity will be established in the United States, with Grand Seiko targeting the name Grand Seiko America, Inc. (GSA).
The new watch is powered by the brand’s ultra-precise movement Grand Seiko Spring Drive 9R15/65. The dial mimics the Japanese painting technique Kira-zuri, which means "gleaming painting." The dial is crafted to complement each metal, helping the watch achieve the elegant look of a Grand Seiko. The dial layout is typical Grand Seiko, with precision-cut appliqué markers, a classic date window at three o'clock, and a power reserve indicator between seven and eight o'clock.
